A few points of interest
Bratislava
The city lies on the river Danube. It has a medieval core with a castle. It still retains elements from its Austro-Hungarian era as well as the years of Communism. There is a popular interesting pedestrian walking zone in the historical centre. During the summer, evening street events are held here. Since the fall of socialism in 1989, the city and its facilities have rapidly modernized.

The apartment - history
The oldest building on one of the oldest streets in the city, which was formally an arm of the river Danube; it was built in the 1920s in exuberant Austro-Hungarian style, and retains numerous features from that time. During the communist period the building was used by staff from the Slovak railway organization.
